End of Summer Vacation 2012

It was a busy summer even though we didn't go to North Carolina this year as we usually do.  Judy flew to NY and went to David's memorial run, keeping us well informed.  Ben finally went to get an MRI on his knee, and will probably have surgery in December.  And I got my iPhone...and had some time to play :-)  Now it's back-to-school next Tuesday, officially marking the End of Summer Vacation 2012.

Had a nice walk out east back in May--before it got too hot to enjoy it.  Can you spot the Leptoglossus phyllopus (leaffooted bug)?  I gave the cow's skull to a man who lives nearby to put on his fence.  Wouldn't have looked too encouraging at school!
